Our successful manufacturing manager:

• Is a self-starter, analytical, well-organized and excels in communication
• Will have experience completing and maintaining administrative records and forms and be comfortable using information systems
• Is willing to lead, develop, coach, and provide direction to production personnel in manufacturing

Our goal for this position is to ensure that the manufacturing process runs smoothly and effectively and that production and quality of products meets specifications

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a six-person manufacturing team, overseeing all daily operations
• Support facility leadership to meet quality, delivery, revenue, and cost objectives, including manufacturing/production, production control and planning, fab process engineering, equipment and facilities engineering, inventory and materials control, and customer support
• Communicate with other team members involving issues occurring with operations, code compliance and other policy violations and actions
• Review purchase prices and provide reasonable recommendations for material processing and handling
• Promote a safe and clean work environment
• Collaborate and communicate with customer service reps, service providers, logistics techs and others involved in the production and manufacturing of our products
• Able to problem solve and resolve on-site facility issues

Qualifications/Requirements

• Manufacturing experience
• Experience as operations leader
• Ideally, will have had exposure to complex assembly, open cast urethane casting and light metal fabrication processes
• Practical technology experience, is proficient in MS Office
• Experience in directing and evaluating direct reports
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes/management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
• Salary offer will depend on experience
